Cindy Blackman mit neuen Signature Cymbals bei Istanbul Cymbals
Cindy Blackman ist neu Endorserin für Istanbul Agop Cymbals. Ihre neue Signature Serie bei Istanbul trägt den Namen “Om”, und wird offiziell dann an der NAMM Show in Anaheim Kalifornien vorgestellt. Die Serie beinhaltet ein 15″ (CBOH15) Hi-Hat, 16″ (CBOC16), 18″ (CBOC18) sowie 20″ (CBOC20) Crashes und ein 22″ (CBOR22) Ride Cymbal. Die Cymbal Serie hat einen warmen Sound und ist bestens geeignet für Jazz. Das Ride Cymbal hat einen klaren und definierten Stock Anschlag. Die Hi-Hats haben einen dunklen Klang mit klarem “chick” Sound. Die Crashes Cymbals sind vielseitig einsetzbar und haben einen schönen, vollen sowie kurzen explosiven Klang. Die Serie wurde mit Cindy Blackman entwickelt. Ziel war es, Cymbals zu entwickeln, welche den speziellen Klang der Jazz Ära widerspiegeln und auch produzieren.

Cindy Blackman OM Series
The Cindy Blackman OM Series was designed in conjunction with Cindy to capture the vibier, more dynamic cymbal sounds from the golden era of Jazz. The 22†ride has a clear, slightly metallic stick due to the unique blue/black finishing and intense hammering, and features a dry, trashy crash sound. The 15†Hi Hats are low, dark and sloshy, with a clear chick and a dark and mellow wash. Crashes are paper thin, with an explosive attack and a quick decay. The 20†makes a dynamic, yet powerful and versatile left side or crash/ride.
